Give Her the Gift of A Doula... With a gift certificate
Expectant and new families receive so many gifts they don't really need; giving the gift of service will provide the new mother and her partner with a more joyful birth and more peaceful period of time right after birth. To purchase a gift certificate:

- Log in to PayPal or use a credit/debit card
- Follow the prompts ensuring that you provide a valid email or phone number for us to contact you if needed
- On the “please review your donation” page under “Add special instructions for the Merchant” be sure to provide the name and address of where you would like the gift certificate sent if different from the billing address

- Two prenatal meetings to get to know your birth team, share your birthing preferences with us, and practice comfort measures for labor and birth
- Access to our extensive lending library and a free baby care DVD
- Your birth team on-call 3 weeks prior to due date until birth (for an extra fee we will cover call for our high risk clients from the time of a signed agreement), includes phone and email support.
- Continuous labor support at home and in the hospital until baby's first feeding, up to 2 hours.
- 4 hours of basic postpartum support included as a complimentary service, it can be continued, as needed, as listed below.
- Extras- listed below, such as belly casting, refresher child birth class in your home, antepartum care (prenatal) and fee for additional weeks to be on call
$500 (we are keeping our basic fees low because of the current economy).
Fee is paid in 2 installments:
- 1st payment: $250 due with signed agreement
- 2nd payment: balance ($250) is due no later than the expected due date
Insurance reimbursement is now available for birth doula services: Although we cannot guarantee reimbursement we make every effort in assisting you through this process.
Extras to Birth Doula Package
- Private 3 hour childbirth refresher class in your home- add $75 to birth doula package.
- Belly Casting - $60 to $100- added to birth doula package
- Antepartum care (prenatal) – help at home so high risk moms can rest and have nourishing meals - $15 per hour – added to birth doula package
- On call for additional weeks due to high risk pregnancy - $50 per week
- Gas fee for long distance travel, more than 15 miles from Asheville.

- Access to our extensive lending library *a free baby care DVD is given to each client
- Available to begin the day after coming home from the hospital, the day after a homebirth or when needed, 1-5 times per week, any day of the week, days and nights (lower fee for overnight hours) up to 3 months after birth. Pay by the week no minumum sessions required.
Basic Postpartum Doula Care- $15/hour - due at the end of each week of care (we are keeping our basic fees low because of the current economy).
- Breastfeeding and infant care support, answers to questions about newborns, help with cord care, baby's first bath and nail clipping.
- Education about techniques to provide comfort for your baby so he/she will cry less
- New baby care so mom can rest, read, take a walk, take a hot bath or sleep with peace of mind that her baby is being cared for by a certified and experienced postpartum doula.
- Care can be provided daytime, evenings and weekends
Postpartum Services that take the cost up to $20 per hour - Everything above, as well as:
- Breastfeeding support for special situations and/or problems (with Tracie, IBCLC)
- Provide a healthy meal & kitchen cleanup OR light housecleaning, which can include: laundry & changing beds while "wearing your baby" so mom can rest.
- Pet care- dog walking and/or feeding
- Grocery shopping and/or running errands
- Miscellaneous small tasks you may need done
